Position Overview

A leading Level II Trauma Center is seeking experienced ICU Registered Nurses to join its critical care team. This role provides the opportunity to care for high-acuity patients in a fast-paced environment while working alongside a highly skilled multidisciplinary team.

Candidates with experience in Medical ICU (MICU), Surgical ICU (SICU), or Cardiac Stepdown/Progressive Care environments are encouraged to apply. The ideal candidate is passionate about critical care nursing and committed to delivering exceptional patient outcomes.

Responsibilities

• Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate care for critically ill patients
• Monitor patient conditions and respond rapidly to changes in status
• Administer medications and treatments according to physician orders
• Collaborate with physicians and interdisciplinary care teams
• Educate patients and families regarding treatment plans and recovery
• Maintain accurate clinical documentation and patient records

Requirements

• Active Florida RN license or Compact RN license (Florida licensure required within 60 days if relocating)
• Minimum of 1 year of recent ICU experience required
• Candidates with MICU, SICU, or Cardiac Stepdown/Critical Care experience will be considered
• Associate Degree or Nursing Diploma required; BSN preferred
• Current BLS certification required
• ACLS certification required within 6 months of hire
• NIH Stroke Scale certification required within 6 months of hire
• Strong critical thinking, communication, and clinical assessment skills
