Hospice Registered Nurse (RN) – Weekend On-Call

Location: Eastern Massachusetts (Framingham area preferred)
Job Type: Part-Time | Permanent | Direct Hire
Schedule: On-Call | Friday 5:00 PM – Monday 8:00 AM

Compensation
– $5.00/hr while on call
– $75 routine visit
– $125 death visit
– $225 admission visit
– $40/hr for meetings/trainings
– $0.72/mile mileage reimbursement

Join a compassionate hospice team providing after-hours nursing support throughout Eastern Massachusetts. This role delivers urgent clinical care, symptom management, admissions, and end-of-life support to patients in their homes and care facilities. The position is currently part-time with the opportunity to transition to a salaried role as patient census grows.

Responsibilities:
– Provide after-hours triage and symptom management
– Complete hospice admissions and patient assessments
– Coordinate care with the interdisciplinary team
– Document care in WellSky/Kinnser EMR
– Support patients and families with compassionate end-of-life care

Requirements:
– Active RN license and CPR certification
– Minimum 3 years RN experience
– At least 1 year of hospice experience required
– Ability to work independently in urgent situations
– Reliable transportation and willingness to travel
